Hey there,

does this software support sblive and its midi in and out. I read the requirements but was just wondering. If not, any hope in the future?

Cheers

Hey!

Unfortunately, converter doesn't support the SBLive! card, as creative labs only implemented partially complete sb16 emulation for the card under DOS (using a memory resident driver).... this emulation provides no midi or audio input...

converter requires at least Soundblaster 16 compatibility under DOS, which is not provided in the SBLive dos driver as creative believes that DOS would only be used for video games :?

SBLive (or audigy etc) support within converter is not planned, due to the nature of what converter is... and the fact that an SB-16 or AWE-32 can be found for about $5 second hand these days

Best wishes,

tom
